In 2008, Terrell Garrett, owner of Greenway Recycling, invested in a 4864 grinder from West Salem Machinery and has been running it ever since. Greenway Recycling is an innovative construction and demolition sorting and processing facility with the highest recovery rate in the Portland area.
“We’re the only company in the Portland Metro area that is running a stationary electric grinder, and quite frankly, I do not understand why everybody doesn’t do it. (WSM Machines) can take the tramp metal, they can take the hits, and its durable. Having a 2.5-inch wear liner, we’re still running the same wear liner we started with back in 08′, we have not worn them out yet.
